I am doing a drawing for a FREE Isagenix shake! This is so when you start the 2 weeks you can do it with optimal nutrition to help you with your goal. This will give you enough for 1 shake a day for the whole 2 weeks. So youcould start your day out with them or end your day with them, you choose!

I CAN DO IT! I CAN DO IT!

What is your mantra? You are going to need a few on hand this weekend! I don't know about you, but the weekends are THE HARDEST for me to stay eating good. And you know that working out hard is not even half of what counts.
Pick some that move you, that inspires you, that makes you want to reach your goal! It can't be I want to lose weight, or I want to be skinny. Its got to be bigger than that. WHY do you want to lose weight, WHY do you want to be skinny??
Is it to teach your kids a better, healthier life? Is it to be able to have more energy to run around with them or to be able to fit into regular size clothes and feeling strong and confident? Is it so once and for all that you can prove to yourself that you are capable and strong enough to accomplish this goal of being fit? is it so you can feel literally feel better vs. feeling like crap from the food you eat... FIND IT AND USE IT THIS WEEKEND! on top of that I want you to say a statement right after that about yourself that you love. It is important that we love ourselves for who we are now to be able to move on to become a better person.
Once you start loving little things about yourself so will other people.
So say something like" I love my legs" (even if you don't believe it right now) Say it over and over. After your mantra, and after you catch yourself saying something negative about yourself.

3rd times a charm

Hows your week going? if it hasnt been perfect, its ok. This is a learning process. You will get better as you go as long as you stick to it. I remember my journey when I first started trying to lose 50 pounds and had days I felt why the heck am I even doing this? Its not working. I could of thrown in the towel and accepted myself to be pleasantly plump, but that would of been given in. And I knew that in my heart of hearts that I had a lot of off days. But, the more I stuck with it the more I learned to let go of some habits and create new ones its been a process. Enjoy the journey. Smile and know you WILL get there. You have the support here and that is huge.
So 3rd times a charm. Smile and find it in you to start this day fresh, anew. You will feel better!

TODAY IS THE DAY!

Its time to start! Most of you have joined the 2 week challenge group on Facebook if you haven't, you will have to befriend me on facebook and tell me you want to join the group, since its set to private. There you will get tons of motivation from everyone, tons of tips and quick workout challenges along the day!. It will be fun, will you get your butt into gear! Click here to become my friend.

Best way to start:
get your workout in- doesnt matter what just get movin!
eat healthier options (make sure you have breakfast!)
Give something up that you are "addicted too" for 2 weeks and when you feel like giving in, remember your goal on why you are doing this. and contact a friend, or go to the group!
Drink lots of water!

2 Week CHALLENGE!!

Who's with me?? This is a challenge to rev up your weight-loss! It will start on MONDAY (isnt that the best day anyways?lol). I think challenges work so much better when there is someone to hold you accountable to keep doing it when times get hard!
So basically if you want to do this please send me your email at the411toabetterbody@gmail.com Let me know what are your weaknesses and what stops you from accomplishing your goal. I will give motivation tips, videos to workout even if its for a few minutes, and stuff we will vow to avoid for the day. You can also just leave a comment here and say I am in! This will be excited! You have your whole life to live, but for 2 weeks you can make good choices for your body to become the health machine it deserves to be!

Almost time to pull out the swimsuits!

So Spring is pretty much here, that means summer is around the corner, which means swimsuits, or even just your summer clothes!! We all want to feel confident about our bodies, so this is the time.
Recommit! Recommit to yourself your goals about your health, weight, body, whatever it might be.
Things that will start helping you again:
1. Start drinking more water again! Half your body weight in oz at least! Before you give in for a snack drink a glass of water and stick a piece of gum in your mouth.

2. when you get the after dinner munchies, reach for a piece of fruit, a grapefruit or orange.

3. get back to exercising. If you dont have a gym membership, set time where you devote 30 minutes to doing things like jumping jacks, push-ups, squats, abs, lunges, etc.

4. some people say weighing yourself all the time is bad. But, if you weigh yourself in the morning, you can evaluate if what you did the day before worked or not,if you gained weight from one day to the next then you know it didnt work so do something different. ( I always skip weighing when I am on my period, why torture yourself during that time?)

5. cut back on eating bread, replace it with corn tortillas( make sure to heat them up, it taste better). Bread has gluten, most people are gluten sensitive. That is why you probably feel bloated after a carb-loaded meal. See how you feel, after 2 weeks from cutting simple bread and pasta. (you can find gluten -free pasta at walmart)
